Mystere by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island is one of the most hands on shows on the Strip. Mystere Cirque du Soleil first premiered at Treasure Island in 1993 and has been constantly selling out since. The aerial acrobatics continue to amaze people in a manner that they are not yet used to, even after 15 years of constant success and sold out shows. Mystere by Cirque du Soleil is one of the shows that really helped establish Cirque du Soleil to it’s American audience.
This is a highly recomended show if you would like a hands on environment, but one thing for all audience members to keep in mind is that they should not trust the clown. This is a show that will leave the entire audience with the desire to quit their day jobs and run away with the circus. The amount of energy and clown type comedy involved in this show is something that is really hard to put into words, although as a warning this is certainly not the type of show that everyone will enjoy, if you wish to take a passive role in your entertainment that it is likely you can find a better fit for your time on the strip. If you don’t mind the idea of a clown messing with you and a very rambunctious cast of performers then this is the place for you.

The Wynn casino is known for going the extra mile when it comes to comfort and that is very visible in the Wynn Theater and their selection of which shows to offer. Monty Pythons Spamalot is a great but silly show in which God takes the night off from serving the world and spends it doing stand up comedy. This is a great las Vegas show for people who traditionally don’t like Las Vegas shows. This show is a great representation of Monty Python humor and if you are a fan it is a must see.
There are allot of scanty clad women through out the show but not a hint of nudity making this a great and funny family friendly show, that can be what brings Monty Python humor to the next generation. Formerly a Broadway show Monty Pythons Spamalot has had rave reviews since it’s launch and is welcomed on the Las Vegas strip as one of the new great shows.
Monty Pythons Spamalot is based on the 1975 movie “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and stays true to the Monty Python tradition and lunacy. Not just a carbon copy of the cult classic movie the show offers allot that is unique to itself and will be sure to be added the the Monty Python collection of greats.
Yet another great family friendly show that is now also one of the more cost effective shows to go see, sees like more and more of the family friendly shows are hiking their prices over $100 a ticket, which can be a real turn off for a family of 5 or more.

This show is incredibly high paced and high energy. with a number of song and dance numbers this brings out more of the traditional show you think of when you think of theater, at least for me. This is a classic musical experience with dancing performers in almost every role. Mamma Mia! features allot of the music from and similar to the music released by ABBA, if you enjoyed the music ABBA you may find it difficult to stay in your seat. Getting up and dancing around to the show is not only tolerated it is promoted, this is a show like no other offering an experience like no other.
Before the beginning of Mamma Mia! an announcer gracefully warns the audience that the following show will feature platform boots, white spandex and feathers in the event that an audience member might not be able to handle such an event. The show tells a story of a young lady who goes through a life changing journey trying to find her father in the days before her wedding.
Overall a great show and recommended for anyone looking for a family friendly show.

Cirque du Soleil has created a great experience filled with acrobatics, visual effects, and dance in a way only Cirque du Soleil could, through the production of LOVE. The show LOVE is set to allot of classic rock and roll as the ongoing soundtrack and gives the audience a very uplifting feeling. As a Beatles fan I think that this is one of the great shows that are currently available on the Strip now. However even though the Cirque du Soleil show does indeed feature several Beatles songs it is in no way meant to be a greatest hits show.
This Cirque du Soleil show was created in collaboration with the remaining Beatles and some of the family members of the band. LOVE takes it’s audience on a journey that visits the Beatles farewell concert as well a Liverpool in the midst of World War 2 in a time when the band members were just children. Cirque du Soleil aerial ballet is accompanied by a soundtrack consisting of “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “Octopus’s Garden” in a stunning display of what can only be translated as possibly drug induced.
One of the best parts of LOVE is the Jam session that features authentic recordings from the four different band members, something to remember and appreciate is that all of the music in the show is from actual recordings of The Beatles Abbey Road studio.

Le Reve the show is based on a Picasso painting that it shares a name with. Le Reve in literal translation from French to English means “the dream” and this is clearly brought through by the performances but on. This is one of the stranger and more romantic of the shows I have gotten the opportunity to see first hand. Le Reve bring the audience through so many different feelings and emotions that it is hard to believe that you never left the theater. For all of the acrobatic, flight, aquatic dance, and fantastic imagery it is amazing how well the story is told.
One unique aspect of this show is that no seat is more than 12 rows away from the liquid stage, making it one of the very few shows you are likely to get wet during. Le Reve is set to a round stage that instantly gives the feeling of being in an ancient amphitheater complete with a massive domed ceiling. The dome ceiling is lined with high quality digital screens that give off amazing images and help to capture the feeling of the entire show.
The Wynn casino prides itself in being more luxurious than other casinos and just above and beyond when it comes to comfort by design, this is no different when it comes to the Le Reve venue, choosing to downsize seating from over 2,000 to just 1,606 seats allows the Wynn theater to offer guests the widest and most comfortable theater seating in Las Vegas.
