The members of the Platters were Tony Williams, David Lynch, Tenor, Alex Hodge, Baritone, Herb Reed, Bass and Zola Taylor. Toni Williams was the lead vocalist. He died in 1992. In 1953 this group was formed in Los Angeles. In October 1955 the Mercury label revised the recordings.

They reached the top 10 in 1956. Sammy Lowe arranged a song My Prayer that was become the group’s second number one pop song. The Platters recorded the song in 1958 which was written by Buck in 1938 went to the first place in the Charts. In 1959 the Platters group was changed within. Sonny Turner replaces Tony Williams in the year 1961. Sandra Down replaces Zola Taylor.

In 1966 new member was introduced into the group called Nate Nelson. He was the former member of Flamingos. I Love you 1000 times and With This Ring are some of the Song Sung by Sonny Turner which lead to great success. Luther Dixson wrote both songs. It was released on Musicor label. The Platters along with Cornell Gunter’s Coaster and the Marvelletes performed in the Sahara Congo’s room.

They usually perform with 20 hits from 50s and 60s. Listening to Platters will take us back to the time of 50s. “Only you”, “The Great Pretender”,”Yakety Yak”,”Charlie Brown”, “Please Mr. Post Man” are some of the hits which are usually performed by this group. The Platters is very famous for best selling hits including “Twilight Time”. The Platters perform every day evening.

Phantom is the wonderful exciting show held at Venetian hotel in Las Vegas. Run time of this show is about 95 minutes without intermission. 95 minutes includes the music and the story of Phantom. The phantom of Opera is well known for having played more than 65,000 performances in 20 countries and 120 cities. It became longest running show in January 2006 ever in the history of Broadway.

Phantom is the story of a girl who loves three different men. Her father who is a patrician has died. In 1986 London Oliver Award was given for outstanding performance in musical field. In 2002 Oliver awards for most popular show. In 1999 UK Group Leisure Industry Award was given for best theatre production. In 1988, New York Toni Awards and Drama Desk Awards were given for the best direction, best music and best costumes.

This Show was appreciated as the best show in Las Vegas in the year 2006 by Las Vegas review Journal. Andrew Lloyd Webber is the composer. Harold Prince is the director of this show. He is awarded New York Toni Awards for the best direction. Mick Potter is the music designer of the show.

Everyday there are two shows except Sunday. Only one show is performed on every Sunday. The show timing is 7 P.M and 10 P.M. from Monday to Saturday. This is a show, which can be enjoyed by the whole family. The Phantom show is the best one for those who are looking for quality and good entertainment.

Penn and Teller are good illusion and comedy performers. Penn is good in story telling while Teller performs miming on the stages. They are considered as good entertainer in Las Vegas. They are also good magician. In their shows they perform tricks like hanging upward down, swinging on a trapeze and running behind an 18-wheel tractor-trailer. Although they present in humorous manner, their act is sometimes violent in nature.

Sometimes, they also show how to perform tricks. ‘Magic bullet’ is one of the remarkable tricks done by Penn Fraser Jillette and Teller. They also perform tricks using United States Bill of Rights and U.S. Flag. They may also act using Chinese States Bill of Rights. Tricks using the nail gun are one of the recent tricks they perform. Penn plays with nails without getting any injuries. They joined and performed for the first time in New Jersey in 1975. Teller is a high-school Latin teacher who performs magic show on the side.
