Casino stud poker is a famous card game played in most casinos. It is a carbon copy of the casino game played in America known as the Caribbean stud poker. The rules of the game are same as the former game. It is played with the standard deck of 52 cards. It is played with a single dealer and 2 to 8 players. Each player must initially place his bet on the betting area of the table. This is called ante and each player need to place this bet compulsorily to participate in the game. Then the dealer distributes cards to each player and does this exactly five times. The dealer also deals himself the same 5 cards. All the cards are placed down side expect the last card of the dealer. Then the players can see the cards and either continue or pass the game. If the player wishes to continue, he needs to place the bet that is equal to twice the ante. This is called a raise. In order to qualify for the raise the player must have at least two cards with 10 points in his hand. If he does not qualify, he\she is not eligible for a raise. The dealer’s cards are compared with the player. If the dealer does not qualify, the players only get their ante back. If the dealer qualifies, the dealer compares his\hand with each player’s hand the winning player gets both the raise and the ants and the losing players does not get anything.
